Microneedling

Purpose: Repairs outer most layer of the epidermis

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of a device containing fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural wound healing processes, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, which helps to improve the appearance of various skin concerns.

During a microneedling session, a dermatologist or trained aesthetician will use a specialized device equipped with multiple tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin's surface. The depth and density of the needle penetration can be adjusted based on the specific skin concerns being addressed and the area of the body being treated.
